The purpose
The Native American Cultural Studies Program was established to preserve and promote a greater appreciation for the Native American arts and culture.
This unique program will feature traditional Native American arts and crafts classes, cultural performances, lectures, presentations, artshows and an annual Native American Christmas Market.
Classes offered
will include beadwork, Plains Indian women's boots/leggins, buckskin dress making, flute making, flute playing, bow and arrow making, Plains style silverwork, Cherokee basket weaving and much more.
